СТАВОТ НА МЛАДИТЕ ЗА БРАКОТ И СЕМЕЈСТВОТО ВО Р. МАКЕДОНИЈА

Author(s): Dragan Stefanovski / Language(s): Macedonian / Issue: 5/2020

Talking about the marriage and family even though in the era of Globalization, our Macedonian society basically adheres to its traditional values. Family as a community represents a basic pillar of every society. Macedonian society, tradition, culture and the family values occupy one of the central position in the value system. The focus of this theoretical-empirical study is on the changes in the value system of the young population as a result of the influence of modern media and the acceptance of Western cultural values associated with the institution of marriage. What was once recognizable in the highly developed Western countries nowadays is fearfully incorporated in the Macedonian society. I’m focusing my attention to the forms of cohabitation (cohabitation, extramarital affairs, and single parent families), which have been rare in the past, but for the newer generations, born in the last decades of the twentieth century are practically a reality, approaching them without any stigmatization or condemnation. The paper is focusing on the issue regarding the fact that the young population today is choosing to marry later, focusing on their socioeconomic aspects, as well as the role that modern media and social networks play in creating their attitudes. For this purpose, in the period January-February 2020, on the territory of the City of Skopje, an empirical research study on two hundred respondents was conducted, involving young people from all structures.

СТАНОВЛЕНИЕ ЭПИЧЕСКОГО В «СЕВАСТОПОЛЬСКИХ РАССКАЗАХ» Л.Н. ТОЛСТОГО

Author(s): Elena Masolova / Language(s): Russian / Issue: 1/2016

The evolution of the world’s epic conception in “Sevastopol Sketches” written by L.N. Tolstoy is considered. Based on the analysis of the ratio of paragraphs in “Sevastopol in December”, it can be affirmed that the epic component in the first sketch is represented in justification of the war aimed at defense of the motherland. The “growing up” of the narrator and his awareness of what is taking place in the world are shown as the epic events. The epic component of “Sevastopol in December” turns all the city’s defenders into high epic heroes. A temporary loss of faith in people unity gives a way to the consolidation of the concept of “we”. At the beginning of the sketch, the concept of “people” involves all people in the city. At the end of the sketch, this concept comprises an inseparable body of city defenders. In the first paragraph of the sketch, the war eliminates harmony, but peaceful life dominates in the last paragraph of the sketch. “Sevastopol in May” deals with the problem of incompatibility of a human with the epic models. Furthermore, a single criterion for appreciation of people is suggested. The “dialectics of soul” in the second sketch is combined with the high mood of the epic heroes from the first sketch. The conclusion is made that people are united by the components of both elevated heroism and negativity of the world. “Sevastopol in August” shows the complexity of transformation of a human toward the world’s epic conception. The first two chapters of the sketch are treated as an exposition of Mikhail and soldiers. It is shown that there are eight micro cycles in the sketch consisting of three chapters connected by the principle of parallelism/contrast or a situation uniting people. In the first microcycle, the characters become cowards. In the second microcycle, they overcome fears. In the third microcycle, these fears dominate. In the fourth microcycle, Volodya overcomes his fear. In the fifth microcycle, every person gets a chance to become a hero. In the sixth microcycle, Volodya rejects the lies among officers. In the seventh microcycle, he feels calm among soldiers. In the eighth microcycle, both brothers die heroically. The nature and defenders of the city protest against the surrender of Sevastopol. The fearless courage in defeat is stronger than the fortitude of soldiers from the first sketch. The conclusion is made about the three-phased idea of L.N. Tolstoy’s artistic thinking.

Author(s): Miodrag Lukić / Language(s): Bosnian,Serbian / Issue: 2/2017

Priority tasks of reducing unemployment and poverty are set in the development strategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the next ten years, it can be assumed that the revitalisation of rural areas would indeed help to significantly reduce these problems and positively reverse the future economic trends. Policy of reliance on agriculture and rural economy as a whole should be not only in a function of survival in the present, but also of the permanent commitment of our country and the economic development policy based on decentralisation and harmonious economic development. Our clear commitment to approximation to the European Union, precisely in the rural sector, entails major changes, radical restructuring, which will surely seek large investments as well, significant enlargement of agricultural holdings, technological and infrastructural reconstruction, different education and permanent training, i.e. a significant change of the way of life in the rural area and changing people's mentality. By such a policy, the life would return to the rural area. The state should support this new development concept, initially to be the financier as well, so as to ensure the necessary initial resources, but also to take care of the balanced and harmonious development of the country as a whole.

Author(s): Rodoljub Čučulović,Bojana Mihajlović,Milutin Lješević / Language(s): English,Serbian / Issue: 4/2010

The concept of sustainable development is recent one, but this problem has been dealt with by the humanity from its beginnings. Back in the ancient time, a number of thinkers already understood the truth that quality of life meant actually good health, material goods and regulated social life. Nowadays, this concept is thought about in a more specific way. A sustainable development theory has been developed and become a leading premise of human life quality at international level. The term “sustainable development” is interpreted in various ways. Among the representatives of the futuristic elite of highly developed countries, the concept of sustainable development implies maintenance of production level and consumption of resources in this present time in order to stop the excessive consumption of natural resources and maintain the environment. This would, in fact, maintain the status of economic relations in the world and would conserve the status of privileged nations acquired at the time of great colonial empires.
