With its realization, we confirmed that the learning experiment and the project work are methods of actively understanding the scientific research, while the curriculum in the field of natural sciences suggests a wide range of practical exercises. The methods used were assumed to be of great importance for acquiring knowledge, skills and habits, and as one of the methods of creating a positive attiude. The paper examines the way the idea originates, what are the aims, tasks and activities of the project and what results have been achieved. Author(s): Malina Dimitrova / Language(s): Bulgarian / Issue: 6/2018

The article is reviewing the educational aids of classical literature in the context of publishing and education politics based on already published products that are in circulation on the market in the period 1990-2014. The analysis consists of a comparison of the internal elements such as selection of the texts, placing the application and textual preparation which allows us to divide them into two groups: Conventional – this is characterized by a complete structural and genre harmony between the components of each volume in the series. Commercial – characterized by the low quality of the editorial process. Both groups show the nature of the publishing choices, which vary widely, and allow us to talk about differences between these seemingly identical publishing products.

Ученето в природонаучното познание и страхът от провал

Author(s): Nikolay Tsankov,Veska Guyviiska / Language(s): Bulgarian / Issue: 2/2018

The main problem discussed in this article is related to the reasons as to how and why fear dominates students’ learning process in education institutions. A right approach toward the topic requires first an investigation of the cognitive aspects of fear, especially when we talk about nature and science knowledge and studies. The research reveals and analyses the main concept characteristics of fear, connected to different ways of thinking and understanding the learning process. Some fear barriers of the learning process have been outlined. The empirical defense of the ideas is based on the research ideas of Daniel Kahneman, an Israeli-American psychologist, and his work on the psychology of judgment and decision-making in conditions of inexplicitness. The empirical data used for the research includes inquiries into students and teachers’ opinion of fear of learning. It is based on the concept of cognitive niches in thinking, which become barriers to learning. In the field of natural science education this problem deserves special attention.

Ученето чрез действие – обосновано от теорията на конструктивизма, но трудно приложимо

Author(s): Zlatka Zhelyazkova / Language(s): Bulgarian / Issue: 4/2020

The article presents the pedagogical aspects and difficulties of the otherwise well-founded theory of the advantages of active learning in the scientific literature. Stepping on the extensive philosophy of education and the psychology of learning, this theory is widely popularized as a foundation on which modern education should take place. An attempt is made to summarize the main components of learning through action, as well as the difficulties faced by the Bulgarian teacher who seeks to include them in his or her specific work, also taking into account the requirements of the particular Bulgarian school environment at present. The transition to the new system of work calls for working upon personal qualities and demands toward the teacher, as well as for the theoretical and practical preparation of future teachers for their professional activity. The proposed solution to the problem of the difficulty in applying the theory of active learning is sought in the achievements of the world experience of teaching practitioners which could relate to our school reality.

Ф.И. ШМИТ – ПРЕДСЕДАТЕЛЬ ВОЛЬНОГО ФАКУЛЬТЕТА ИСКУССТВ

Author(s): Rostislav I. Filippenko / Language(s): Russian / Issue: 2-3/2019

An extremely poorly known stage in the cultural life of Kharkov during the Civil War period was considered. The Free Faculty of Arts, which was headed by F.I. Shmit, an outstanding historian and art expert, was founded in the autumn of 1919. The brilliant scientists and teachers of Kharkov became the organizers and lecturers of the faculty. A number of examples were provided to prove that Kharkov of that period was very interested in studying cultural and art criticism. At the same time, the historical situation influenced both students and educational process. The schedule of classes and lecture topics were published in the local press one week prior. No diplomas of previous education were required for being admitted to the Free Faculty of Arts, and students who successfully finished the course were not given any diplomas either. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the Free Faculty of Arts turned out to be a remarkable phenomenon despite the difficult times and the short term of its existence. In the works dedicated to the study of the pedagogical and organizational activities of F.I. Shmit, A.I. Beletsky, S. A. Taranushenko, and other scientists, their contribution to the organization of the Free Faculty of Arts and their active participation in its life are emphasized.
