Поликультурное образование и межкультурный тренинг – аспекты теории и практики

Very often international youth seminars involve some kind of intercultural exchange. Where participants from a great variety of backgrounds take part. There are so many points to entry into the subject of intercultural learning. This is a suggested format aimed at creating an intercultural environment for a couple hours’ workshop that could be run independently or as part of a larger activity. The advantages are: participants already know each other (at least a bit) and there are more possibilities to follow-up after the workshop. The intercultural games and activities help participants to get to know themselves, their roots as “cultural” beings, to respect, appreciate and accept diversity in a global sense.

A geometric relation is derived between the roots of polynomials with roots in four specially located points on a line and the roots of the corresponding derivatives. More precisely, three of the points under consideration are arbitrary while the fourth one depends on them in a special way. Some polynomials of a real variable and with real coefficients are considered as an application.

This paper is dedicated to the analyses of the political approaches and legislative framework in the domain of security risks in the school environment. The authors present, criticize and analyze standards, politics and legal acts and suggest concrete ideas and approaches that could improve processes of identification, analyses and assessment of the security risks in schools. Having that on mind, the authors suggest the adoption of a unique methodological instrument for assessment of security risk - the national standard SRPS A.L2:003. Simultaneously, the authors propose redefinition of this instrument in certain domains, trying to adjust it to the needs of contemporary educational system. The category of IT risks should, by the authors opinion, became the important part of the risk assessment standard. Finally, the authors conducted empirical study among high school students, confirming the hypotheses about the reality and importance of IT risk in modern society, especially among school- age youth.

This book is about the regime after 9th of September 1944 (The Socialist Revolution of 9th of September) and the unopposed choices taken in the sphere of education by the government of Kimon Georgiev, unopposed because there had been no political opposition left in the government. Then, during the 6th Grand National Assembly a great number of time-tested and aprooved educational institutions were closed legally, as it looked like, and ideological principles (Politics) were brought in the educational system of Bulgaria. For the creation of this monograph, the author Vesela Chichovska had reviewed the collections of Central State Archives of Bulgaria, the archive of several Ministries, the archives of Bulgarian Academy of Science, the diaries of the 26th Ordinary National Assembly and of the 6th Grand National Assembly, forming solid, but almost unused, except from her documentary material.

In the recent decades, intensive studies have been performed on the interactions between polyelectrolytes and the possibilities for polyelectrolyte complex (PEC) formation. The main purpose of these studies is to investigate the properties of PECs and to extend their application in solving different technological and environmental problems. The interest in natural polyelectrolytes - polysaccharides, proteins, amino acids, DNA, etc., has been increased due to their role in living organisms, their bioavailability, biodegradability and uses in pharmacy and medicine. In the present study attractive, electrostatic interactions between oppositely charged polyelectrolytes have been used to prepare a novel complex between a polyampholyte casein and a natural polycation — chitosan. The complex casein/chitosan is formed during the mixing of acid chitosan solutions and basic casein solutions. The complex yield was investigated by viscometric, spectroscopic and gravimetric methods. The optimum stoichiometry of the complexes at different pH has been determined.

The proposed material is a modest attempt to connect the time of the Bulgarian Enlightening and the role of assistant teacher then with our time now and another ambition of the Bulgarian state to implement in the pre-school and school education the auxiliary position of “educational mediator”. For educational practice, the mediator is primarily intended for specialized work with Roma children and students and their parental communities to ensure their participation in educational institutions. The article also offers the opportunity to apply the Renaissance experience in the training of today's educational mediators, in the same way as the assistant teachers of that time. Their path was predetermined – from assistants they grew into the most famous teachers and scholars of their time. Why do we not take advantage of this experience today?

In this article we will answer the question: which flat geometrical figures are geometrical flat bodies?In order to be able to answer this question, we first need to consider the classification of points in a plane in relation to a given geometrical figure, taking into account the definition of individual points, internal and external points, limit and boundary points, using the concept of the neighbourhood of a point.Next, we need to look into the concept of open and closed figures, surfaces and closed areas. Based on that, in order to provide a definition of a flat geometrical solid and of parameters thereof, we will discuss what a limited and unlimited flat convex body means. All the concepts are illustrated with examples and pictures.Finally, we will set out the criterion that must be met by flat geometrical bodies and describe an algorithm for geometrical shape investigation.The authors suggest that thecontent presented could be included in planimetrics course books for classes with a special curriculum.
