A study of the interpersonal problems in single and marriage females
The marriage age has risen during past decades and this phenomenon can cause some negative consequences. Delayed marriage can be in a direct association with interpersonal problems. This study aimed to compare interpersonal problems in single and married females. 150 female university students between 30 to 40 years old completed the Inventory of interpersonal problems (IIP-64). Results indicate no significant difference between two groups in their interpersonal problems. This finding indicates that we cannot consider interpersonal problems as an effective factor on delayed marriage and there are other variables that influence people’s decisions, opportunities, and viewpoints about marriage.
