Firms today focus on the development of long-term customer relationships and seek ways to actively involve customers in the marketing process. Platform enterprises such as Amazon, Airbnb, and Uber are spearheading the efforts in this direction by providing a digital platform enabling multiple stakeholders to engage in and contribute to brand value creation. However, scholarly research to date has not yet addressed the question of how platform enterprises can effectively and efficiently operate the network they build in a global market in order to stimulate co-creation and enhance brand value creation. We integrate Porter’s “diamond” with the dynamic capabilities approach and develop a conceptual framework, which helps us better understand how platform enterprises utilize their capabilities to exploit the “diamond” and build an “ecosystem of partners” while fostering innovation and encouraging brand value co-creation.

The article deals with some of the modern trends in the development of the marketing concept.The argument is presented that classical marketing is losing its importance; the defining characteristics of the future marketing model are discussed: co creation of value.Further studies are made into the nature of similar and different types of consumer behavior in circumstances of co creation.Some of the applications and examples of new culture in marketing are shown, along with consequences of the development of the marketing concept.

Collaborative consumption is a current global trend which is changing the way in which people use goods and services. This trend also affects the state of the tourism market. With reference to this the article studies the increased use of this business model nowadays by outlining its main characteristic features and the reasons that have caused its appearance. In addition, the article classifies the wide variety of services and products that fall within the scope of this model. Special attention is paid to the factors which limit and stimulate its development. The article also provides a summary of the most widely used digital platforms for sharing tourism – related services. In conclusion, it systematizes the advantages and disadvantages of collaborative consumption and its effects on the conventional supply of tourism products and services.

The article addresses versions for development of modern political economy in Bulgaria. Political economy is interpreted as a basic (common) theory of economics, different from the neoclassical theory. Preference is given to the classical tradition in economic theory development. The issues of the sources, generation and distribution of wealth, of its growth (economic growth) and of the functioning of the economy should also be focused in the modern theory, considering the fact that economy exists, functions and develops in a natural and a public environment and is interrelated with the environment. The classical tradition is not a reference of the ХІХth century theory to the modern economics, but a continuation of the classical line in theory taking into account the changes in the contemporary world – changes in economic and non-economic realities and in scientific economic and non-economic knowledge.

Аt the beginning of the XXI century in Bulgaria there has been a keen interest in the modern political economy: within the period 2001 – 2016 there were over a hundred publications from Bulgarian authors in this sphere; and over the last ten years three national scientific conferences were held (in 2007, 2013, 2016). However, both in the country and worldwide, the concepts on many issues, including “What is modern political economy?” differ, or are even diametrically opposed. Therefore the article addresses these differences, offers and applies an analytical tool, which allows for a better order without controversy in the identification of modern political economy with implied preference for development of the classical line therein.

The survey was conducted in July-August 2013. The analysis focuses on the following problem-thematic fields: The modern woman between family and work and the influences between the two areas; The model of a modern female personal and professional development, represented by value orientation, beliefs and attitudes of women regarding family and work; The balance between family and professional life, or to what extent modern Bulgarian women manage to achieve a balance between their roles in both areas; The main reasons (not) to achieve a harmonious reconciliation of family and professional roles; The generational affiliation as a factor for family and career realization – specificity for the young and mature generations of women. The research examines the main procedures in the tax control process: registration, declaration, establishment, collection, provision and appeal. The provisions of the substantive and procedural tax-insurance normative acts have been examined. The theoretical formulations and practical problems of the tax officers (revenue authorities and public executors) and the taxable natural and legal persons have been investigated. Two main accents - both theoretical and practical - are laid. The first is concerned with questions about the nature and specificity of tax control procedures. Variants are offered for their development and improvement, according to the specific conditions of application. The second is aimed at the practical applicability of the main tax procedures and identifying the possible difficulties in their implementation by the participants in the tax control process. On the basis of a survey carried out, analyzes are carried out and conclusions are drawn on improving the procedural tax control. The study is aimed at identifying problems in the content and implementation of tax procedures. This allows for the identification of impact measures that will lead to greater clarity, directness, speed, accuracy, professional adequacy and competence in the participation of the active and passive tax subjects. Qualitative communication between tax officers (revenue authorities and public executors) and taxable individuals and legal entities can lead to saving time, material and financial resources.

Residential policy is in the focus of the attention of a wide range of specialists, competent authorities and institutions in Bulgaria throughout the transition period from a centralized to a market economy and in the course of Bulgaria's accession to the European Union. To date, this issue is becoming more topical and puts its practical realization on the agenda. Therefore, this article clarifies the modern role and importance of residential policy, the factors influencing its development have been explored, its current situation in Bulgaria - compared to some EU countries - is presented, based on this, some conclusions and summaries are made about the main prospects for its development.
