The survey is theoretical base for building the dictionary macro structure for “Active combinatory-explanatorial dictionary of the French verb for Bulgarians”. The exposed anthropocentric ideographic model of the initial communicative ability is achieved through (re)construction of the French linguistic cognitive picture of the “communicating language personality (Homo colloquens), formed through means of the verb minimum. Homo colloquens is viewed as a combination of Homo dicens et agens (intentional aspect of the language communication and Homo dicens, essens, habens, agents (propositional aspect of the language communication). Two-aspect essence of the Homo colloquens defines lexical filling of the different components (lingua-cognitive pictures) of the worked anthropocentric ideographic model: 1. general lingua-cognitive picture comprises weakly fragmented language picture (propositional component) and phrasal modality (intentional component); 2. specific lingua-cognitive picture comprises highly fragmented language picture (propositional component and intentional verb minimum, which is a lexicalised variety of the phrasal modality (intentional component).

The paper suggests research „routes“ tracing the linguistic migration of Bulgarian words in the lexical space of other languages. A survey of major studies in this field is made. A minimum list of Bulgarian lexical items is offered, which could serve as the starting point for the collection and analysis of Bulgarian borrowings in other non-Slavic and non-Balkan languages.

The aim of this study is to transform the dictionary entry from Активен комбинаторно-тълковен речников модел на френския глагол [Active Combinatory Explanatorial Dictionary Model of the French Verb] into a script. This is based on the actant structure of the verbal lexeme represented in the experimental model. The dictionary entry has been developed as a focussed lexicographic portrait of the headword consisting of a centre and a periphery. The results are applicable in foreign language teaching and in the development of mono- and bilingual lexicographic databases.

The inventary of homonyms in the usual dictionaries of Romanian language was a problem from the beginning. Being a linguistic phenomenon, homonyms was studied in semantical domain and in the studies of general linguistics. Homonymy must be based on certain principles, to take into consideration the words history and etymology, grammar and semantics. Most of the dictionaries, for having a safe meaning they use only verified homonyms, from etymological point of view. So, being a problematic category, lexico-grammatical homonyms weren't always included in the dictionaries. In this analyze, my goal will be to identify and analyze lexico-grammatical homonyms: cască, cer, moare, poartă, vin.

The article proposes a translational reflection on the different strategies used by the translator in order to manage lexical ambiguity. They are part of what we have called translational ability. In the Orthodox theology and spirituality texts written in French that interest us in this work, the most frequent frequent type of lexical ambiguity is plurivocity by excess (Fuchs, 1994). Through the analysis of several examples, we will show that this translational ability is underpinned by three main components: the interpretative reading of the source text, the identification of the appropriate target language equivalent, and the discursive explanation. We will work on a corpus consisting of several personal translations (from French into Romanian) of the writings of the greatest contemporary French Orthodox theologian, the archimandrite Placide Deseille (1926-2018).

Every branch of knowledge, whether humanities or science, has its terminological corpus. This corpus is in a relentless evolution. Literary science, literature theory and criticism is a true heritage (un véritable savoir sur la littérature), which has never been motionless in terms of enriching, renovating and updating its scientific vocabulary, which has become more and more specialized over the time. Let us just remember the triumphal entry of linguistics, since 1960, which was coined as New Critique. From that period on, in the process of decoding and exegesizing the text (especially the literary one), critics used a series of sophisticated, polysemantic, unsettled terminological units, not defined by specialized lexicography. Reading criticism implies a precise knowledge of this specific, peculiar language, known as a “literary terminology”.Rhetoric devices of the past are basically defined, minutely characterized and settled by lexicographic sources of didactic use, or academic-encyclopedic sources. Modern textology, however, offers us other stylistic, lesser-known, sporadically fixed means, such as tactisme isolexisme, autruisme, brouillage syntaxque, rappel syntagmatique, échorythmique, mixage, musication, and many others. The purpose of this article is to persuade the high school teachers, the university academic staff dealing with the exegesis of the text according to the curriculum, that it is practically impossible to decode a modern text without having detailed information about the neologisms, without identifying the current evolution of traditional terms such as the novel, poem in prose, futuristic poem.

Thanks to research over the last decades on specialized languages, the status and methods of terminology, terminological definitions, term characteristics, the relationship between term and word, etc., radical changes have occurred in the theory of terminology today. The sphere of metalanguage in Romance languages (French), which interests us, has a dynamic description of terminologies from a linguistic and literary perspective. The sphere of metalanguage, which concerns us, its lexicographic plan, has been the subject of research in Romance languages. In French, for example, we have the dynamic description of stylistic terminology from a linguistic and literary perspective, see, for example, the works of Mr Ion Manoli Dictionnaire des termes linguistiques et poetiques (2012) and Dictionnaire des termes litteraires (2022).For the lexicography of the Romanian language, see Gheorghe Dragomirescu’s Mică enciclopedie a figurilor de stil (1993), Dorel Fînaru’s Dicționar de retorică poetică (2020), or Mihaela Popescu’s Dicționar de stilistică. In English lexicography, both yesterday and today, such research is still lacking. Until today we do not have a dynamic description of stylistic and poetic terminologies from the linguistic perspective stricto modo, following the constitution of terms in various fields of knowledge (Old Rhetoric and New Rhetoric, Prague, Copenhagen, Geneva, Paris, Heidelberg linguistic schools, etc.) from the diachronic aspect, the semantic and pragmatic behaviour of terminological units, their integration and functioning in texts with different degrees of specialization; the lexicographical definition of these terms becomes ultra-difficult if one takes into account their diversity, fixed in dictionaries. When we use the terms metalanguage, metalinguistic, metalimbic, we have in mind the terminological language specific to a field of research. The closest synonym is specialized language. The boundaries between general and specialized language and between specialized language variants are very flexible, with lexical items constantly moving from one area to another.

The aim of this article is to present a selected lexis of Russian and Polish languages, and its increasing frequency in con- temporary texts. The author of the study pays attention to the various relations between language and reality: language as a reflection of reality, language as a tool for its interpretation and creation. The paper discusses such pairs of words as вызов/wyzwanie, гуманитарный/humanitarny, гибридный/hybrydowy, the word абьюз, derived words with the com- ponent кибер and their Polish equivalents, as well as collocations with these words.
