Das Flossenbürger KZ-Außenlager Holleischen Trotz der Tatsache, dass im Sudetenland zwischen 1942 und 1945 mehr als 13 Außenlager der Konzentrationslager Flossenbürg und Groß-Rosen errichtet wurden, mangelt es immer noch an monografischen Studien, die sich mit der Geschichte einzelner Außenlager befassen. Dem Autor dieser Studie ist es zu verdanken, dass nach mehr als 60 Jahren endlich die Geschichte des bedeutenden Flossenbürger Außenlagers Holýšov (Holleischen) monografisch bearbeitet wurde.

Das Schicksal "privilegierter" jüdischer ArbeitssklavInnen Unter den 4 500 ungarischen Bürgern meist jüdischer Herkunft, die in den letzten Kriegswochen nach Theresienstadt gelangten, gab es mehr als 1 300 Männer und Frauen, die aus der sogenannten "Ostmark" kamen und daher zu den aus Österreich Deportierten gerechnet wurden. Diese Gruppe unterscheidet sich von den mehr als 15 000 Juden, die vom 21. Juni 1942 bis zum Frühling 1945 aus Österreich nach Thereseinstadt deportiert wurden; nicht nicht nur durch den Weg ihrer Deportation, sondern auch durch die begleitenden Ereignisse, die dieser vorausgegangen und eng mit dem Schicksal der Juden in Ungarn im vorletzeten Kriegsjahr verbunden waren.

Die Autorin stieß während ihrer Recherchen im Rahmen des Projekts "Menschen auf der Flucht" im Bundesarchiv Bern auf Akten zu 31 slowakischen Juden, denen es trotz aller Schutzvorkehrungen auf deutscher und schweizerischer Seite gelang, während des Jahres 1942 in die Schweiz zu flüchten. Ausschlaggebend dafür, das außerordentlich hohe Risiko der Flucht in Kauf zu nehmen, waren die in diesem Jahr einsetzenden Massendeportationen der Juden aus der Slowakei in den Lubliner Distrikt und nach Auschwitz. Da die meisten Flüchtlinge nur zufällig der Deportation entkommen waren, stand die Flucht am Ende eines oft monatelangen Dahinlebens in der Illegalität. Anhand von Verhören beleuchtet dieser Beitrag die Lage der Juden in der Slowakei und ihr Wissen um Massenvernichtung der Juden.

Lokale Initiativen, regionale Maßnahmen, zentrale Entscheidungen im "Großdeutschen Reich" Der Aufsatz beschäftigt sich mit der Bedeutung des Protektorats Böhmen und Mähren für die zentrale antijüdische Politik des NS-Staates. Wie auch in Deutschland und Österreich waren im Protektorat diverse Institutionen auf allen Ebenen an der Judenverfolgung beteiligt. Neben Maßnahmen, die von Reichsinstitutionen ausgingen, wurde die antijüdische Politik im Protektorat vor allem von tschechischen Ministerialbehörden sowie von Kommunal- und Regionalverwaltungen vorangetrieben. Eigenständige Entwicklungen im Potektorat zeigen sich sowohl in den deutschen Maßnahmen zuvorkommenden Aktivitäten, als auch in der von Deutschland und Österreich abweichenden Entwicklung einzelner Verfolgungsbereiche. Dieser Aufsatz beleuchtet bisher von der Forschung unbeachtete Aspekte regionalen und lokalen Engagements und dessen Auswirkungen auf die zentrale antijüdische Politik des NS-Staates.

Dieser Beitrag untersucht die Rolle der Deutschen Reichsbahn und des Reichsverkehrsministeriums bei der Logistik der Judendeportationen aus Deutschland und anderen Teilen Europas in das Ghetto Theresienstadt, das als Sammellager und Durchgangslager zwischen 1941 und 1945 Zielbahnhof zahlreicher Deportationstransporte war. Ebenso haben viele Transporte das Ghetto Theresienstadt in Richtung "Osten" verlassen, vor allem nach Auschwitz. Der Autor beschäftigt sich in diesem Zusammenhang auch mit der Funktion der Okkupations- und autonomen Verkehrsverwaltung des "Protektorats Böhmen und Mähren" in der logistischen Organisation der "Endlösung der Judenfrage".
