Literary study follows the development of Hasan Kikić’s poetics, from his folkloristic and expressionistic phase, to the shift into engaged, social literature. Kikić’s naturalistic expressionism, alongside the lyrical expressionism of Zijo Dizadarević, is an extraordinary literary particularity in Bosniak literature corpus. Especial accent is put on the social and anti-war component in Kikić’s prose, as an expression of intellectual engagement.

Eliminating the prejudice that “the art is greater than life”, Olga Bikić writes her novel “Milost oblaka” / “Mercy of Clouds” (published by Književna zajednica “Jovan Dučić”, Trebinje, 2007) with a direct and “fluent” narration. Her narration is free from redundant intellectual constructions and “wisdoms”. “Mercy of Clouds” is a family novel written as a retrospective lyrical testimony of the novel’s protagonist.

Analytical review of critical-essayistic work of cooperator in journal “Putokaz”, literary critic and theoretic Rizo Ramić, which is, at the same time, a critical “reconstruction” of the programme and ideological platform of the magazine. Ramić’s essay "Tri generacije književnika muslimana" / "Three Generations of Muslim Authors" was published in the first two issues of “Putokaz”. According to recent literary historiography, this essay represents the beginning of literary critic among Bosniaks, and therefore is an inevitable work when studying Bosniak literature. The Remark: The full title of review is: "Esej 'Tri generacije književnika muslimana' Rize Ramića: kao mogućnost sagledavanja programske koncepcije 'Putokaza' i njegove književno-društvene uloge u godinama mijena i potresa pred izbijanje Drugog svjetskog rata" / "Essay 'Three Generations of Muslim Writers' by Rizo Ramic: As the Possibility to Perceive the Program Conception of 'Putokaz' and Its Literary-Social Role in Years of Changes Before the Second World War"

Itinerary “On the Path of God’s Prophets” is a distinctive reconstruction of cultural and religious past of ancient civilizations in the area of south-east Turkey, called the Land of God’s Prophets. The other itinerary, “On the Path of Bosnian Kings”, depicts “the cultural and spiritual setting of medieval Bosnia”. Kajan’s itineraries are a travel through both space and time.
