The goal of our research was to discuss the aspects of teachers’ preparation of natural sciences in the beginning level, their professional readiness, and also to reveal the problems in this field in Georgia. In our opinion, in order to become successful teacher in natural sciences, one has to comply following criteria: professional knowledge (theoretical and practical experiences, obtained in the University); to know the methods of the study, its purposeful and creative approach;ethical, pedagogical approach toward the students (respect and love towards a child’s personality); right selection and manipulated methods of evaluation; to create comfortable physical and learning environment depending on age differences. Nowadays, it is still problematic to establish professional qualities of future teachers. They are experiencing difficulties to put together the knowledge in logical way, in creative way purposefully select and receive old or new pedagogical methods and technologies. According to national study plan and subject standards, the role of a lecturer in this process is to determine the formation of professional quality for them, which helps future elementary school teachers to achieve concrete educational goals, to make study process vary and achieve results. Despite the fundamental knowledge, it is very important to have an individual work and constant contact with the students. According to our pedagogical experience, I would like to underline, that one of the most important factors is to increase the level of productive study, which is constructive, however the same time, positive, close and open contacts in between student and a lecturer. In our view, modernization of the early education in high professional pedagogical education elevates to new strategy of education, directed not only by gaining the knowledge and its “harden” use, but also to develop the personal quality of the future teachers. Also to inputcreative-individual, personal-developing form and methods of preparation specialists.
