The Sociological Review is the oldest scientific journal in the area of sociology in the Balkans, established in Belgrade in 1938. Thematically it covers all disciplines of sociology as a science, as well as multidiscipline in which sociological is one of the approaches. The magazine is published quarterly, bilingually: in Serbian language and in the English language. Leading sociologists from Serbia make the editorial board, but there is also the International Scientific Council with researchers – sociologists from more than 10 countries. The first editor of the magazine Sociological Review was the professor Djordje Tasic. The publisher of the magazine is the Serbian Sociological Society.
