Summary/Abstract: This paper reviews the dynamics of the banking deposits in the European Union and Eurozone countries for the period 2008-2017. A comparative analysis was conducted on the banking deposits dynamics for the above-mentioned group of countries for the period 2008-2017. We conclude with main trends of the deposit dynamics in the banking systems of the EU member states.
