Historiographic Affinities in the Work of Vasile Netea

Summary/Abstract: The present study intends to render the part of the historian Vasile Netea in the Romanian historiography, not by a full analysis of the content of his work, but by merely trying to show who were the heroes that determined his research and who were the historians that he placed at the basis of his research. It is not a top, impossible to achieve given the impressive dimensions of his work, but rather the affinities with other historians’ writing, predecessors without whom his speech would have been less consistent.Hence, the investigation of those pages in which Netea showed his attachment to and also his sympathy towards the historical ideas of Şincai, Maior, Papiu Ilarian, Treboniu Laurian, Bariţiu or Iorga.
