Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to outline current attitudes and motives for corporate social responsibility in Bulgaria and to examine the extent to which the goals, tools and measures in the National Strategy for Corporate Social Responsibility 2019-2023 correspond to the needs of organizations in business and public sector. In-depth interviews were conducted with representatives of corporate and public sector organizations. Leading motives for the implementation of CSR are presented. Proposals for changes in the scope of the CSR Strategy and the inclusion of tools for improving the macro and meso environment in the country to encourage organizations to behave responsibly are summarized.
