Summary/Abstract: This article presents pastoral experience connected with catechumenate before baptism, which became the basis of shaping the form of catechumenate after baptism, in the parishes of Siedlce’s diocese for parents and godparents of the newly-baptised babies. The catechumenate is based on the program “If you believe, let be baptised”, run in the diocese. Another program, directed towards a bigger audience, yet realized in smaller groups in the parishes, “Baptism in life, and in the mission of the Church”, is described. It is based mostly on biblical catecheses, deepening the knowledge of history of the Redemption, on individual and group work, aimed at personalising the history, and discovering the power of baptism.
