Summary/Abstract: Ibn Zaydun (1004-1071) is one of the great Andalusian poets who freed the poetry of the old Arab qasida structure and introduced innovations into their poetry; In their poetry, words are fresh and mild, and the style cosy and comfortable. They shunned and despised large concentration and accumulation of thoughts and words as overly burdening as well as the use of a large number of rhetorical decorations that can cause losing of thoughts and meanings.
