Summary/Abstract: The long-term trend development and the short-term GDP fluctuations as well as its components in Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary in years 1996-2009 are compared in the article. General conclusions are similar for short-term and long-term analyzes. Greater similarity in behaviour of particular measures occur between Polish and Czech than between Polish and Hungarian economies. The deciding impact on the phenomenon had accumulation. The hypothesis on similar net export fluctuations cannot be confirm. Following accession to the European Union, the correlation between cyclical fluctuations of GDP and demand, particularly accumulation, increased explicitly.
