Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the readiness of students to activate their cognitive activity in the study of electrotechnical drawing, using programmed lessons to acquire new knowledge and skills to work with the software product CADdy ++ Electric. The lessons developed in this way enable the learners to look at the material selectively, depending on their needs and to determine the pace of their progress. The use of a computer system as a tool for self-learning is directly related to increasing the quality and efficiency of the independent work of learners, which contributes to increasing their responsibility and motivation in the learning process.
