The correspondence analysis method in the survey of women life quality

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the correspondence analysis used to determine the relationship between variables connected with changes in quality of life in the last three years and the socio-demographic variables (age, civil status, number of children, education, place of residence and employment). An attempt has also been made to answer the question whether the analyzed variable depends on the satisfaction degree with selected aspects of life: personal, social, professional and financial situation. The study was conducted on the basis of a questionnaire survey in which respondents were women being citizens of Zachodniopomorskie voivodship. The analysis was based at the turn of years 2007 and 2008. The correspondence analysis allowed the authors to illustrate the relationship between taken variable categories in the three- and two-dimensional graphs.
