South America: Reflections of Adventurous Experience

Summary/Abstract: The main objective of this article is to portray South America as seen through the reflection of the journey and adventurous experience in Bulgarian interwar literature. The text argues that the Latin American continent's specifics are connected to the way South America welcomes modern people in its marvelous reality, while giving rise to both astonishment and a desire for adventure, as well as a propensity for uncalculated risks that may lead to disappointment and a sense having failed at life.
