Summary/Abstract: The historical overview of the existing concepts of the “legal construction” demonstrates the need of their critical revision. The component composition of legal constructions, their functions and action within the legal system are not clarified to a sufficient degree. The article summarizes the author’s achievements in a 30-year period of work on this topic and discusses the prospects of future research.
