Summary/Abstract: The article shows various opinions expressed in the doctrine of systematics of the property law in our country. A new view on systematization is proposed, which is in line with the development of the legislation during the last 20 years. The entry into force of numerous special laws provides grounds for differentiating between two types of special norms – those regarding the rights in rem held by certain subjects, and those regarding the rights in rem to certain types of objects. The Ownership Law is outlined as an act regulating the general matters of property law.
