Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the peculiarities of the Bulgarian immigrants’ dialect spoken in the village of Musabeyli, Edirne Region. A comparison is made with the features of the Rhodope dialect of the village of Vievo, Smolyan Region, where the inhabitants in the village of Musabeyli originated from. The article presents statistical data on the population of the village of Musabeyli before the Balkan Wars, when it was inhabited by Bulgarian Christians, and from a later period, when Bulgarian-speaking Muslims settled there.
