Summary/Abstract: The main ways, forms and methods of forced collectivization policy realization in the Ukrainian Danube Region are examined on the basis of a wide range of new sources. It is proved that from an economic point of view, through the collectivization of rural households, the Soviet authorities tried to create a strong mechanism for controlling the production and distribution of agricultural products; to get rid of “unwanted” elements (individual peasant farm) and to impose a socialist system of householding.
