Summary/Abstract: Communication is continuous and widespread. People communicate at all times primarily because of the need to share information, important for the successful realization of some joint or individual goals. In order to communicate clearly and to give the interlocutor a clear understanding of the purpose of the conversation, one must possess communication skills. The modern lifestyle imposes the need to possess this type of communication skills as people contract daily and need to be skilled in negotiating. Convincing the interlocutor in his or her own position is extremely difficult as there is often a clash of views and beliefs. However, it is a process that is learned and upgraded in practice. This paper puts particular emphasis on the business communication as a form of communication that is used in civil society organisations and is believed to be necessary in order to achieve mutual cooperation, coordination and positive results. Without the ability to interact in business communication, the civil sector would not be able to connect people, their ideas, needs and beliefs. Thus, business communication both internally and externally is a particularly important issue that deserves due scientific explorations.
