Summary/Abstract: In the article the author presents the results of theoretical and empirical study ofsocial representations of Gagauz and Bulgarian youth of the Republic of Moldova. Namely the authorresearches their representations, perceptions, views regarding their ethnic group. Therepresentations, generally, reflect the culturally invariant characteristics of ethnic groups that arepart of their worldview. The conclusion is made that social representations determine the vector andthe degree of their social activity.
