Summary/Abstract: The problem of symmetry and asymmetry is a general-linguistic problem in natural languages. Languages tend to symmetry in order to be unambiguous, but they can not avoid asymmetry. Without thorough research, the nature and volume of asymmetry in particular languages, including the Croatian language, remain unclear.
