Summary/Abstract: The Cyrillic Preface to the 4th Book of Esdra in the Manachin Bible Florilegium of 1575–1577 mentions Giovanni Pico della Mirandola and is believed to be a text written by Francisk Skorina, the publisher of Cyrillic Bible and other books in Prague (1517–1519) and Vilnius (ca. 1522–1525). The author argues that this Cyrillic Preface is a translation from Melanrich’s Czech Bible of 1556–1561 and, thus, does not belong to Skorina.
