Summary/Abstract: Digitization of documents is an excellent solution to curb their deterioration and damage by various factors. This process helps us to use them as primary sources of information. "District Court of Prizren" is an archival fund inherited with serious problems in preserving original documents due to the high risk of total destruction by biological and chemical substances. Information technology has taken on new dimensions and digitalization of documents as well has made it possible to protect the original documents in the archives by removing the risk of damaging them and making easier to use.
