Young and furious. Searching for sources of teenage girls aggression

Summary/Abstract: For the last 20 years, the tendency to violent behaviours among young girls increased significantly. This article describes the importance of puberty, peer group, family and school environment influence in generating aggression. The differences in motives and forms of aggressive behaviour between teenage girls and boys are presented, together with selected concepts explaining root causes of women aggression.
