Summary/Abstract: Since the signing of the 1963 Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, an international arms control regime has limited nuclear arsenals and has prevented further proliferation of existing nuclear weapons. Almost all negotiations on nuclear arms reduction and non-proliferation have come to a halt, while existing structures of treaties erode due to political and military-technological developments and may collapse in the near future. The aims of this communication is to analyze changes in nuclear weapons structure and juridical regime, after 1989.
