Summary/Abstract: The author reviews the restoration and conservation of a damaged copy of “Oktoikh i.e. Osmoglasnik” (1859). The restoration was made by the classical manual method and by the method of leafcasting. Mechanical cleaning, strengthening of a scribble, deacidification were pre-applied. Each of the stages before and after the intervention is photo-documented.
