Summary/Abstract: The author of the article considers gender features of manifestation of anxiety as a negative emotion that detrimentally affects physical and psychological state of a preschool child. The article considers the most significant factors in relation to the gender characteristics of anxiety in preschool children, and determines criteria for parental influence, family structure, and parental attitude to the child.
