Summary/Abstract: This study draws attention of specialists to some aspects of criminal nature, ethical and moral related to "plagiarism" and "self-plagiarism". The author attempts to define the notion of "self-plagiarism" and regulate this act from legal and criminal point of view. After defining and delimitation of plagiarism there are treated some practical issues regarding the citation and self citation, plagiarism and self-plagiarism.
