Summary/Abstract: The matter under consideration is Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz’s philosophy. The author presents the main assumptions of reconstruction of Witkiewicz’s ethics made by Agnieszka Kałowska and analyzes its problems. In addition, the author discusses the place in culture and influences of Witkiewicz’s philosophy.
