Illegal access of Facebook accounts on the criminal law perspective

Summary/Abstract: In the same way we have intimacy in the real life, we have intimacy in the unreal world. To protect these, on Facebook, the legislator, in order to confer safety, had to draw up and regulate legal standards to prevent or sanction any illicit behaviour. Therefore, according to the provisions of the Criminal Code, more specifically in chapter IV, “Crimes against the safety and integrity of computer systems and data”, the legislator tries to prevent the occurrence of such crimes. In this paper, we shall try to clarify a few techniques of accessing another person's account in an unauthorized way, after which we shall examine from the perspective of the criminal law, the incident law texts following the performance of such operations.
