Summary/Abstract: Turkey is at an important point in regard to energy transmission although its resources in terms of natural gas reserve are scarce and it becomes an important energy transition country in recent years because an important part of natural gas reserves in the World is located in geography around Turkey. Analyses are conducted primarily for the development of world’s natural gas trade and then, the chronological development of Turkey’s natural gas market, the strategy required to be implemented while evaluating the data obtained as a result of these analyses, is established in this article. It is tried to create suggestions about what should be done in order to create a proper natural gas pipeline strategy and to be successful starting from the opinion regarding that Turkey may provide an affordable price policy with the existing and developing trade centers with the abolition of commercial or technical obstacles before the mutual flow of natural gas with Europe.
