Communism as a Critique of Leftist Melancholy

Summary/Abstract: The author points out that the historical left has formed its manifestations in accordance with the combination of Rousseau and Lasalle. The critic of political economy with its achievements was subordinated in the West and East, too. The author asserts that this orientation determines the forms of defensive of the left. After these considerations, the author makes an attempt to make a difference between the left and right. He insists on the social question as the precondition of the leftist articulation of the power. At the end the author pays attention to the thinking of Alain Badiou and Antonio Negri. Their thoughts are treated in the context of prepared criteria and presented as the philosophy of communism with the critical potentialities concerning the historical left.
