Summary/Abstract: From the point of view of the Family Law, as much as important it is to thoroughly regulate the material norms of adoption so much important it is to regulate the procedures or the process of their implementation. The Paper will in more detail consider the process and the assumptions that have to be fulfilled by the entities of its establishment, the course, the principle of secrecy and the effect of a complete adoption. In this Paper all these issues will be addressed in the measure in which it is necessary for these purposes, without the ambition of not leaving the room also for possible different opinions and interpretations. Also presented will be selected examples from the practice of the European Court for Human Rights. We shall also draw and present the conclusion we have arrived at after a careful selection of the contents and the volume of the Paper.
