Modern Realities and Calls of Sector of Security of Ukraine

Summary/Abstract: The problem of reformation of the security sector of Ukraine is examined. Ways and terms of the increase in the efficiency are certain. Among major of them is to provide the functioning of the security sector as an integral system, creation of a single center of management, improvement of legislative base and others. They underlined a necessity of transformation of the role of the state for the system of providing national security in the conditions of development of a non-state security sector, being of balance of public and private interests in this system. Actuality of the task of search of new approaches and models of professional preparation of employees of the security sector is marked.
