Summary/Abstract: Planetary gears possess a kinematic properties that enable their application in various branches of industry. Through specific embodiments are achieved very high ratios, while the other lower ratios reflect favorably on the use of hydraulic pumps. This article provides an overview of this diversity based on selected case studies.
