Summary/Abstract: Entrepreneurship is a vital component of socio-economic development and a key factor to make economy competitive. Therefore, its highest level as possible is in the interest of every country. Among other things, the level of entrepreneurship depends on the attitude of society towards running their business. The aim of this paper is to assess Poles’ attitude to entrepreneurship. In order to meet the aim of this paper, attention was paid to the attitude of the Poles, meant as society, adopted to entrepreneurship, their entrepreneurial behaviour, motives behind setting up own business.
