Emotional relationships of nowadays teenagers – the empiric outline of a problem

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the research is to determine the importance of emotional relationships in the lives of teenagers, as well as the quality of such relationships. The research focused on the following issues: the teenagers’ opinions on their emotional relationships, the expectations the young people have of their girlfriends and boyfriends, the advantages and disadvantages of having a partner, the plans for the future of teenagers having their partners, the sexual behaviour of the subjects, and the subjects’ responsibility for their partners. In the research took part 79 young people in the age between 16 and 20. The method applied in the research was the diagnostic survey. The research techniques were the questionnaire and the projective verbal technique.
