Summary/Abstract: The introduction of quality management methods to the health care facility can meet the health needs of patients up perfectly. Quality management is a priority, and customer satisfaction is considered as the basis for business. Effective management of this suggestive "contagion" subordinates idea that will identify with it and increase involvement in the work. The aim of the study was to analyze the engagement in the work of the nurses working in Poddębice Health Center. AVEM questionnaire was used – patterns of behavior and experience work-related. The study involved 171 nurses and 27 midwives. In the study group age, place of work, education and work experience were included. Detailed analysis of the aspect of readiness to engage in work among the surveyed nurses and midwives showed that with increasing age of the respondents, and with increasing work experience and education the value of their ratings decrease. This means that the older and more educated nurses present wiser engagement in work.
