Summary/Abstract: Purpose of Research. The main purpose of the work is to study the music education activities of Ukrainian Greek Catholic Priesthood at the end of the 19th century – the beginning of the 20th century in the territory of the Ternopil Voivodeship. Methodology. The methodology of the research is based on the application of the historical, cultural and musicological approaches. These methodological techniques allow analyzing the cultural activities of Ukrainian Greek Catholic priests and presenting their music education activities. Scientific Novelty. The scientific novelty of the work is the introduction into the scientific circulation of the private archival materials and the generalization of the ascetic activities of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic priests. Conclusions. In the Ternopil Voivodeship, similarly to other territories of Western Ukraine, the cultural and education movement was born among the Ukrainian Greek Catholic priests, who formed the intelligentsia of the region. They were composers, writers, directors, actors and public figures at the same time. So, they were artistic leaders that directed the musical and cultural development of the region.
