Global dimensions of cultural heritage protection and the national policy of Turkmenistan

Summary/Abstract: Purpose of Article. The study aims to highlight Turkmenistan's policy on the protection and preservation of the national historical and cultural heritage in the context of global dimensions of humanitarian ties in this area. Methodology. The basis of the choice of means of the study were the principles of systematic and integrated approach. The historical-chronological method and the method of documentary analysis were used in the study, which made it possible to trace the formation and development of humanitarian connections between Turkmenistan and international organizations in time and to develop its policy of cultural values protection. The use of these methods of research contributed to obtaining their theoretical results. The scientific novelty of the obtained results consists in the formulation and development of an actual topic, which in scientific terms did not receive comprehensive and objective coverage and is first investigated. The idea of the importance of attracting international organizations and global and global experience in preserving national cultural values is substantiated. Conclusions. Turkmenistan has entered a period of revival of the national heritage, traditions, and customs. Turkmenistan has its system for the protection of cultural heritage, which reflects the national peculiarities of the cultural policy of preserving its heritage. It is stated that Turkmenistan will resolve issues related to the protection and preservation of cultural heritage, and at the same time, will improve the development and condition of national science that studies and popularizes historical and cultural monuments in an international context based on intercultural dialogue.
