Summary/Abstract: Purpose of the article. To instruct and investigate information about the outstanding Ukrainian composers of the XIX century. Consider and analyze individual works related to the Ukrainian folk-discipleship material and occupy a leading place in the creative work of representatives of the Ukrainian national composer's school. The methodology consists in the analysis of literary sources. The above-mentioned methodological approach allows us to study the study and use of the acquired experience of the Ukrainian diaspora, to determine the deep cooperation of the figures of the Ukrainian musical culture of the diaspora and Ukraine, support of their activities by state and non-governmental organizations. The scientific novelty of the work is to expand the perceptions of Ukrainian composers at a separate historical stage of the state, and how it influenced the development of the musical culture of Ukraine in general. Conclusions. The article presents and investigates the information about the outstanding Ukrainian composers of the XIX century. Some works related to the Ukrainian folk-discipleship material are considered and analyzed, and they occupy a leading place in the creative work of representatives of the Ukrainian national composer's school. The poetic and musical talent of the Ukrainian people provided a high level of development of musical and song creativity. Ukrainian music in this period developed in close connection with the life of the people, his struggle for social and national liberation. Its roots, she reached inexhaustible sources of folk art.
