Slang in the subculture of football fans

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article. To investigate the functioning of a special language in the subculture of football fans as an important component of the linguistic identification of football fans, to identify and analyze reflections in the lexical slang system of peculiarities of the worldview. The methodology of the study is to apply comparative, statistical, functional methods. The scientific novelty of the study summarizes the information about the linguistic and cultural specifics of the slang of football fans, analyzes the formation of a special picture of the world through their communicative activities. Conclusions. The speech of the subculture of football fans includes a lot of specific words in the lexical arsenal, performing the identification function, reflecting the collective values, the influence of political events on the communication of football fans.
