SHORT HISTORY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF MUHAXHIR (NEWCOMERS) NEIGHBORHOOD IN PRISHTINË

Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with difficult history of establishing Muhaxhir Neighborhood in Old Prishtina. Here is dealt with the survival of newcomers persecuted forcefully from their lands in Toplicë and Sanxhak of Nish, during 1877/78. Also, in the paper is mentioned the lack of hospitality the city of Prishtina had for these people who left everything behind in order to save their heads from barbarian Serb-Russian army.
