Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the work is to distinguish in the context of modern civilization transformations, mediated by globalization, cultural component, mediated by the information factor as one of the main catalysts of these processes. The methodology of work involves the use of culturological, axiological methods to clarify the essence of informational and cultural globalization in the context of modern civilizational transformations; analytical - to study the course of globalization processes in view of the actualization of the information factor in the globalization of culture.
