Analogy and Textual Coherence. The Case of Animal Analogy in La Fontaine’s Fables

Summary/Abstract: This article attempts to study the mechanisms of analogy as a means of textual coherence in two of La Fontaine’s Fables. It suggests an analysis of the process of textual structuring via animal analogy. Indeed, this article emphasizes the links between the different figures of analogy and their corresponding marks pointed out in both fables.
